Group Celebrates Lagos Lawmaker's Birthday With PWDs




A group of young entreprenuers under aegis of Makinde Formidable Ambassadors, in commemoration of Hon. Tpl. Rasheed Makinde's birthday celebration has donated food items, toiletries, detergent and cash gifts to Hope Fountain School for the Deaf.



The group which claimed their gesture was premised on the symbol of collective greatness, which the celebrant (Makinde) epitomised, added that his unflinching pursuit of what benefits all is unmatched.


According to the leader of the team, Comrade Olatunde Kenneth the lawmaker representing Ifako Ijaiye constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly has proven himself as the man of the people by his track records.


"We have organised this as a surprise as he has always surprise us too with opportunities within and outside our constituency.


"This donation of food items, toiletries and cash was facilitated by the entire Makinde Formidable Ambassadors, who stand and propagate him beyond the shores of our constituency.


"As a promising lawmaker we have a strong belief in his Ideology and he has influenced our membership of the All Progressives Congress, and we have been following his footsteps, as loyal Ambassadors.


"We are donating this token to celebrate him, and pray for him to continue to wax stronger in wisdom, knowledge and understanding of his primary responsibility and the people." Olatunde said.



The lawmaker who was amazed by the gesture, expressed his delight to the team who willingly facilitated the presentation, he prayed God to replenish all.


"From 12midnight I have been receiving surprises, till this moment everything is still appearing like a dream. Well, I can't say much than to continue giving God all glory and adoration and ask for more favour for both my immediate and political families and more importantly, more victories for our party APC." Makinde prayed.


Speaking on behalf of the Hope Fountain School for the Deaf, the Principal, Mr. Tony Wankolo expressed his appreciation to Hon. Makinde, and the Ambassadors, he said, that they have truly displayed that they are good ambassadors of Hon. Makinde.


"We at Hope Fountain Schools for the Deaf, cannot but sincerely appreciate you for counting us worthy of your visitation, it is a great opportunity for the students, staff and management to see you, we wish you long life and prosperity in all your endeavours.


"The gifts you have brought to us are well appreciated and we commend you to continue to do more for the people."


The elated students expressed their joy using sign language to wish the celebrant a happy birthday.
