Imo Bye-Election: Court Sacks APC Candidates As PDP Candidate Coasts To Victory

Interestingly, the drama that has been unfolding in the All Progressive Congress In Imo state is nothing compared to the latest one that was just unveiled with the judgment of the federal high court in Abuja and an Appeal court in Imo state today.

Just few hours ago, news broke that the Federal high court in Abuja has sacked Frank Ibezim from contesting in the election that is coming up tomorrow because of irregularities In the credentials he submitted to the INEC, even though he has been parading himself as the candidate of the APC.

Also, few minutes ago, an appeal court sitting in Owerri has declared the Frank Ibezim as the candidate of the APC in the election, stopping Senator Ararume from contesting in the election.

No doubt, this is the worst APC has been in the state, and with this development, it is good as saying the party has no candidate in the election set to take place tomorrow.

The Federal high court has sacked Frank Ibezim, while the Appeal court has sacked Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, what’s left for the APC? Absolutely nothing.

This also technically means the candidate of the PDP and APGA are the only ones who have legal grounds to contest in the election, if the court judgments are anything to go by, victory is between PDP and APGA while APC is out of the game.

Meanwhile, between APGA and PDP, The candidate of the later, Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu has shown beyond reasonable doubt that He is going to win the election tomorrow.

He is a grassroot person who has the support of the major stakeholders in Okigwe Zone, infact He owns a chieftaincy title and lots of people have shown support for him in the coming election.

Apart from this, a popular prophet, Primate Ayodele had said weeks ago that The candidate of the PDP will emerge victorious in the election provided there is no rigging.

With these, Is it not enough to say the PDP and its candidate, Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu are coasting to victory ?
