Re- 7days notice to quit an alleged distress building by the Lagos State government Building Control Agency (LASBCA)

Insight touch media on the alleged 7days ultimatum notice served on a property situated at No 2, brown street, oshodi by Lagos State Government Building Control Agency (LASBCA) which was posted  on social media space.

Our source gathered from a reknown elder within the community that the property is beyond what people read on papers or electronic media and print, rather, it's a calculated move by one up coming developer living in the community who's is bent on using all means available to claim ownership of the building.

It may interest you to know that this cold, dubious war and forcefull hijack of property by this upcoming developer has been going on for 3years within the community.  He wanted to develope a building thinking he can bypass the developer who built the property 25years ago and out of despiration he sold his house on same brown street and used the proceeds to lure some of the family members who own the property into signing agreement with him to develope the house in which it is on record that the building was contracted for 25 years and it will expire in six months time. Infact, in the Advent of trying to romance the family with money, he has spent all he had including a loan he collected from bank.

Inview of this circumstances while all hope is dashed, he sorted for the help of a top political herms man in Oshodi who in-turn sorted for the help of the Lagos State Government Building Control Agency (LASBCA) headed by MR GBOLAHAN OKI in company of Engineer Toyin Omotosho having greased their palms to assist him secure and control the ownership of the property through all sort of devilish act and to forcefully hijack the property.

In continuation, the community elder said It's so abysmal when people tend to soil a fellow man's reputation just to save his face from eminent disgrace from banks where he went ahead to borrow money. Why the despiration when it was previously agreed that the initial agreement between the family and the developer should be followed after which the upcoming developer can take charge of for the building provided that both parties have agreed. but it's so sad why this sudden despiration surficed. We all know this kind of antics are pre determined attempt and also politically motivated to tarnish the image of the developer who built the property some decades ago.

Another community stalwart who chooses to remain anonymous  said, When we sincerely look at this issues holistically, the real question begging for answers is that, why can't they wait for the few months when the whole agreement between the developer and the family that owns the building will end before encroaching on the property. Only a despirado does this. And he believed that the political herms when who supported this upcoming developer is doing no good to the community rather he wanted to throw the community into Jeopardy.

Same scenario has been happening for a very long time within the community.

Though our correspondent called the LASBCA GM Mr gbolahan Oki however, till the file of this report he hasn't get back to us.
