The event is a collaboration of Event and Hospitality Professionals comprised of 8 associations within Nigeria representing special event planners and producers (from festivals to trade shows), caterers, decorators, florists, destination management companies, rental companies, special effects experts, tent suppliers, audio-visual technicians, event and convention coordinators, balloon artists, educators, journalists, hotel sales managers, specialty entertainers, convention center managers and more.
The objectives of this event is to:
· Educate professionals in the event industry on the safety protocols of operating during a pandemic.
· Enable event industry professionals to Network with one another.
· Foster enlightened performance through education while promoting ethical conduct.
The Mission of the coalition is to educate, advance and promote safety within the event industry and its network of professionals along with related industries. We believe that affiliation with the coalition provides an avenue for continuous education and idea exchanges. It also provides an opportunity for members to stay on top of safety matters affecting the industry.
All speakers will inspire our attendees to put safety first in all their events.
The event will be hybrid (virtual and physical) with about 300 attendees. Also present will be local Event Industry Specialists from the Lagos State Tourism and culture, Lagos State Health and Safety Ministries.
