Kazeem Giwason the Deputy Majority Leader, the Chief Whip Amb. Kassim Sharafadin Owolabi, Minority Leader Amb. Fatima Eshinlokun and Amb. Adebowale Michael, paid a working courtesy visit to the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture sited in Araga community, Epe local Government, Lagos State.

In the quest to champion youth course all over the nation, it is imperative for  the director to spread his tentacles across all government own parastatals, fashion ways of co-opting youths in areas that foster national growth and development.

During this visit, the deputy director Mr. Adeola Odofin (Training coordinator) of Agriculture -base Youth Empowerment Scheme (AGRIC YES) explicitly narrated how Araga became agricultural settlement, the role of government and contributions from top government officials from the ministry of Agriculture.

Amb. Adara Stephen Abiodun who happens to be an alumni of this institution also stressed his experience and benefits reiterating the need for  young Nigerian to vigorously tap into this generous vacuum to alleviate the nation from food insecurity.

As the Legislative mouthpiece of youth populace, it is imperative for every Nigeria to note that he or she is an ambassador of his or her state. By take charge and full responsibility in your capacity , the nation will excel beyond our expectation. Government on the other hand need to create an enabling environment through policies to nurture synergy with youth.

In this context, the Deputy Majority Leader, Amb. Kazeem Giwason appreciated the parastatals Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture for this laudable initiative put in place by respective institution with the aim of ending poverty, unemployment, ending food insecurity and engaging women and young people of Nigeria.

He reverted to the aims and objectives of YAN which serves as guiding principles of the assembly. It s our duty to protect the interest of Nigeria youth, propagate the good will of this present administration humbly led by Mr Babajide Sanwolu and encourage more youth in propagating for a better Nigeria.

However, the National delegate visited the interim batch of YES beneficiaries, admonished them to utilize this golden opportunity in oder to relinquish them from clusters of unemployed youth, elevate them from economic quagmire and political fantasmagorea.

A nation that refuses to educate her citizens automatically reinforces criminality.

Thank you our working Governor Mr Babajide Sanwolu, Our Commissioner for Agric Ms Abisola Olusanya, Director of the Institute Dr Omirin and The coordinator of the program Mr Odofin for engaging Nigeria Youth positively.

Signed: Adara Stephen Abiodun (National Director Admin doubled as the Majority Leader Lagos State chapter)
