It was a memorable day for Chief (Dr.) Rasaq Akanni Okoya as family, friends and Well wishers gathered at his Country home Oluwanishola Estate in Ajah to celebrate his 82nd birthday.
The birthday celebration started with Islamic clerics at his mosque for prayer, where dignitaries from all works of life all gathered to celebrate with the business mogul.
The celebrant Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya while speaking to journalist expressed his joy and gladness, the celebrant said today would have been a very great day but he lost an inlaw Chief Alao Akala, he said if not that the birthday has been planned, it would have been cancelled today.
He then advised Nigerian youths to be more hard working to be able to realize their own wealth, that he took him 60years to build up his Empire. He believes with hard work Nigerian youths will be successful as he is today and they should always pray for good leaders that Nigeria is a very good land of potentials.
The wife of the celebrant Chief Mrs Shade Okoya also wished his husband a happy birthday in good health and longer life.
