Olaolu Mudashiru, a Lagos businessman, co-founder and Deputy Managing Director of leading capital management firm, VETIVA today met his untimely death this morning after a drunk, yet-to-be-identified driver knocked him down while riding a bicycle. The incident occurred along Gerrard Road in Ikoyi, Lagos. Olaolu a cycling enthusiast for many years was riding with a team of cyclists when the driver from hell rammed into them. He and about three others were fatally injured in the crash. They were immediately rushed to a private hospital where Mudashiru was confirmed dead.
He is said to be in his 50s and was full of life until the unfortunate incident. Mudashiru, who trained as a medical doctor, was the son of former Lagos State military administrator, late Air Commodore Gbolahan Mudashiru.
The news of his death has thrown his numerous friends and associates into deep mourning.
