*It is timeless, universally relatable, not specific to a particular audience, it resonates generation after generation and not affected by time.* This is the description of the popular song *Odun Nlo Sopin* by Mrs D. A Fasoyin.
According to Mrs D.A Fasoyin she said the song was originally a *CAC hymn* that has been in existence since the *40's* and usually sung at the end of the year by all CAC churches.
In the year *1979* the Good Women Choir put this into a song and released it under the Ibukun Orisun Iye record label. They added two more verses to the original hymn and it became an instant hit.
This song which has over the years become an Evergreen Classic comes with a deep message of hope , love and prayer to spiritually usher many into the *New Year* .
Mrs D. A Fasoyin was the leader of the Good Women Choir which was formed in 1975 though originally known as Good Women Association prior to their own formation.
Today Mrs D.A Fasoyin is over 80 years and her song resonates through the ages.
