In furtherance to the desire of the Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede's led administration to ensure that free health care is brought to the door step of the people, Oshodi-Isolo local government in partnership with Lagos State Health Management Agency will be organizing a medical outreach and sensitization program for the residents.
The health outreach is aimed at conducting free diagnosis, treatment and drugs to the people of the local government.
The one day medical outreach culminated into both the state and local government's medical plan for the populace. The program tagged: 'ILERA EKO' is charged with a higher mandate of providing good health care to lagosians.
Attendees of the one day free medical outreach facilitated by the chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede will have access to free blood pressure checks, free blood sugar level checks, free eyes tests, registration for continuous free health treatment on the scheme, COVID-19 vaccination, free drugs and medical advice.
The program will take place at the Legislative Hall of Oshodi-Isolo local government on Tuesday 9th May, 2023 starting from 9am to 4pm.
The council chairman hereby implore residents of the local government to take advantage of the partnership and access free medical services and drugs.
He said; "as a result of the importance we attached to health, we have been able to facilitate a partnership with Lagos State Health Management Agency, who are in charge of ILERA EKO. One of the pecks of the partnership is the one day medical outreach that will see our people receive free medical services and drugs.
We urge our people to take advantage of this partnership and access free medical services that would better their health. The medical team will be here on Tuesday and our people should be make themselves available. As a government, we shall continue to priority the wellbeing and health of our people."
