The Chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria , Lagos State Chapter, Lagos SWAN , Olatutu OLADUNNI, have expressed a congratulatory message to Prince.Hon ANOFI ELEGUSHI, on his appointment as a Federal Commissioner Operations National Hajj Commission.

This followed the recent appointment of board members of National Hajj Commission made by Mr president , announced via his SA media and publicity. Anjuri Ngelale

LAGOS SWAN Chairman, Olatutu Oladunni expressed her utmost joy on the appointment of the lagos Prince, ANOFI ELEGUSHI, describing it as a continuation to service humanity as the Operation ethics is Hajj Commission is enormous, even though its an appointment but it a thankless job, as the dedication and commitment it entails are huge and uncompromising .

OLADUNNI, a member of Center for Protocol and Diplomacy London , said, the Lagos Prince , Elegushi ,will definitely deliver as it is a familiar terrain for him, as he had previously served as the Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Central Business District and also as Commissioner for Home Affairs in Lagos State , coordinating every Affairs of Hajj and Pilgrimages in lagos in a well coordinated and appealing manner all through his tenure.

In no doubt will enable a productive Operations as fedearl Commissioner in National Hajj Commission.

In a statement released today, by Lagos SWAN Secretariat via the Secretary, Omotunde Bello, stated,

"our heartfelt congratulations to Prince ANOFI ELEGUSHI , characterizing the appointment as another phase of national progression for islam as a religion and Muslims across the country.

Elegushi who had demonstrated a profound professionalism and wide integration of citizens in various areas of profesisonal spheres as member of lagos state executive council is a suitable person for the position.

The chairman emphasized her absolute confidence on his service delivery .

Therefore urged him to continue to maintain better balance among citizens and also maintain the credible standards of qualitative values and excellence in his new office". Says OLADUNNI

In the same vein, She used the opportunity to appeal to President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to please accommodate Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN into his order of preference as Sporting press plays significant role in the character building and social economy well-being of any nation. The attention shouldn't be on performing athletes and administrators only, but to the Sporting press who have shown utmost support, Commitment and dedication towards the branding, promotion and media marketing of sports in the country and its atheletes in the last (50)years . Tinubu support for SWAN will go a long way to aide Sports Developmental growth and youth advancement in Nigeria.

Sports is the first element of success and the greatest religion of global integration as it looks beyond Race, Colour , Tribe, Status and Gender.

She used this medium to commend Tinubu's support for the super Eagle's ahead 2024 AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS in ivory Coast.
