ARAROMI ODO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION ONCE AGAIN ENGAGED OVER A THOUSAND RESIDENCE IN THE JUST CONCLUDED ALL INCLUSIVE MEDICAL OUTREACH AND Sensitization PROGRAM ORGANIZED TO ENUNCIATE THE NEED FOR REGULAR MEDICAL CHECKUP.

 



The just concluded medical outreach wasn't just a success but door opener to numerous activities designed to create awareness, sensitize, and to re-inform the residence of Araromi Odo Community and the neighboring CDAs. The program which was rescheduled began to welcome over a thousand vulnerable residence from Freeman inward, Herbert Macaulay, Kadara, Willoughby, Oloto, Borno Way and Denton street were adequately examined by medical experts from the Nigerian Red Cross (Unilag Branch) members of the Lagos State Aids Control Agency, Folab Dental Care and ABIMSLOVE4ALL who have been engaging medically for five years.


The executives who set to hit the ground running pledge to break their previous records of active community engagement while assuring the beneficiaries of quality representation. The Chairman, Comrade Abowaba Adedapo who was ably represented by the secretary Comrade Ayo Morris reiterated the commitment of the newly installed set of individuals who were sitting on various positions as they promised to leverage on already established platforms, addressing pressing needs by partnering with other community associations, reestablish their relationship with the state government as the vessel to reach the grassroot.


While applauding State Government headed by Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor on various interventions put in place to actualize his Theme Agenda, we can not but equally acknowledge the effort of the Lagos Mainland Executive Chairman, Hon. Omolola Rashidat Essien a listener, mother, teacher and an astute politician who in her might patronises good governance admist lingering challenges. Similarly the leadership of the association also recognized the spontaneous engagement of Hon. Ajani member Lagos State House of Assembly representating Mainland Constituency 1.


In conclusion, the convener Amb. (Comr.) Kassim Sharafadin Owolabi also the Assistant Secretary appreciated everyone who contributed in a way or two, promised to always represent in the interest of the people and most important continue to contribute his ounces to the well-being of community members. A vote of thanks was equally issued to Lagos State Government through Lagos State Aids Control Agency, Lagos Mainland Local Government, ABIMSLOVE4ALL Initiative, Folab Dental Care, Nigerian Red Cross, Iyalode of Lagos and others.
