28-year-old cyclist Isaiah Peter sets out on an exciting journey from Abuja to Lagos.

Nigerian cyclist Isaiah Peter made headlines and news broadcasts when he started an exciting journey on bicycle from Abuja to Lagos.

The noble journey, which he called the "New Hope Adventure," was intended to advocate for development and good government in opposition to corruption, nepotism, religious strife, tribalism, and many other barriers to the realization of a great Nigeria.

As of the time of writing this article, Monday, May 6, 2024, about 7 a.m., Peter, who departed the Federal Capital City, Abuja, is currently in Ahoko Kogi LGA in Kogi state. Before arriving in Lagos state, he would go on bicycle through the states of Kogi, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, and Ogun.

After arriving in Lagos state, he would go to the state government's seat of power, the Alausa Secretariat in Ikeja, to pay Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu a courtesy call and deliver a message. He will also pay visits to notable individuals residing in the state. Individuals such as Air Peace CEO Allen Onyeama, Chairman Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, and CEO of UBA Tony Elumelu. Peter also had a visitation scheduled at the residence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Bourdillon, Ikoyi.

As at 6:30pm, of today he has to stop and take a short rest at a Motel in somewhere around Jamata kogi State.

He is among the strong Nigerians who never give up on their nation. He thinks Nigeria can grow and that everyone should work together to help the country's leaders accomplish more. As he consistently stated, "God did not err in creating Nigeria, a nation of diverse ethnic groups." Nigeria should be developed by all of the leaders working together. As citizens, you and I have a role to play in Nigeria's development.
