CAF and CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL sign a partnership to discover future young reporters as part of the CAF African School Football Championship programme the

 

The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) and CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL, under their training wing CANAL+ UNIVERSITY, concluded a strategic partnership to develop training programs for young African talent in the field of sports journalism. The partnership is in line with the objectives set under the CAF African Schools Football Championship program – an initiative of CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe to invest in the youth of Africa that has seen 800,000 (eight hundred thousands) boys and girls under the age of 15 participate in activities on and off the field of play. The CAF African Schools Football Championship has, amongst its main annual activities, the Young Reporter Programme.
