Complimentary Medical Outreach: Lagos Mainland (LG) Collaborates with COWLSO to Assist Residents Of Ebute-metta.

 


The Lagos Mainland Local Government, chaired by Mayor Hon. Jubril Emilagba, in partnership with the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), conducted a complimentary medical outreach program for the citizens of Lagos Mainland.



A total of 500 individuals benefited from the commendable initiative organized by Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, the wife of the Governor of Lagos State, in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State (COWLSO) national women's conference. The theme was "Health for All: Bridging the Gap; Building a Healthy Future," which offered complimentary medical services, including general medical consultations and treatments, dental care, eye screenings, tuberculosis screenings, cervical and breast cancer screenings, and chest X-rays.



In his inaugural speech, Mayor Emilagba conveyed his gratitude to the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, for her unwavering dedication to the welfare of the populace, especially women and children.



The First Lady of Lagos State, represented by Mrs. Aderonke Solomon, a member of COWLSO, announced that the Committee has conducted analogous outreach initiatives in various senatorial districts and local council development areas.



Alhaji Babatunde Salako, Chairman of the Community Development Council, expressed appreciation to the First Lady and the Chairman of Lagos Mainland for facilitating the outreach to the community.
