From Saturday, 5 September to Sunday, 27 September, the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2026™ will showcase women’s football’s Stars in the Making™, with all 24 participating nations having now confirmed their official squads.
The squad lists feature players who could go on to shape the future of the game for some of women’s football’s powerhouse nations, alongside emerging sides whose presence will underline the continued global growth and competitiveness of the sport. In addition to hosts Poland, Benin, Ecuador, New Caledonia, Portugal and Tanzania will all be making their tournament debuts.
The 12th edition of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup™ overall, this year’s event will be the second to comprise 24 teams. The participating nations represent the cream of the crop from all six confederations and will line up in six groups. The top two in each group and the four best third-placed sides will advance to the knockout stage, with the action set to culminate in the final in Łódź on 27 September.
The tournament will be played across four Host Cities: Katowice, Bielsko-Biała, Łódź and Sosnowiec. Further information about the participant nations and the match schedule can be found on FIFA.com.
