The Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in Lagos State (ALARHOSPS) has declared its support for Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (KOH) to become the Governor of Lagos State in May 2027.
The endorsement follows the unveiling of Dr. Hamzat’s election manifesto, titled “The PROMISE,” on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Wole Soyinka Arts Theatre, Iganmu.
ALARHOSPS extolled the document's robust, realistic, and credible vision, highlighting its strategic focus on the public service sector and pensioners.
President of ALARHOSPS, Otunba Nurudeen Ojora-Adejiyan, commended the administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for its extraordinary achievements in pension administration over the past eight years.
He said, “To ensure a smooth transition for the incoming administration, we appeal to Governor Sanwo-Olu to finalise all outstanding pension payments, grants, and arrears before the end of his tenure”.
Advising that Lagos State pension structures be aligned in real time with the approved scales paid to equivalent cadres by the Federal Government, Otunba Ojora-Adejiyan urged all Lagos State public servants, pensioners, and eligible voters to mobilise and cast their votes to re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in recognition of his administration’s significant accomplishments and unwavering support for public servants and retirees nationwide.
In the same vein, he called on all Lagosians to vote Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (KOH) as the next Governor of Lagos State, recognising his support as Deputy Governor in ensuring the seamless, timely release of pension bonds and financial obligations since May 2019.
ALARHOSPS reaffirmed the commitment of its members to supporting government initiatives and contributing positively to the progress of Lagos State at all times.
