The Office of the President, West Africa Youth Council, Conseil Des JeunesD’Afrique De L’iquest, Cape Verdehave has appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Baay Projects, Mr Segun Adegoke as West Africa (ECOWAS) Youth Ambassador.
Speaking at the induction ceremony in Lagos, The Nigerian Representative of the Council, Mr. Olaleru Folorunsho stated that the need for leadership qualities to be encouraged in the Nigerian youths birthed the initiative of decorating youths contributing their quota to the development of the society.
Olaleru noted that majority of problems in Africa and West Africa generally are the product of bad leadership.
The Representative said it is the reason why the youths should be discovered early enough so that they know that their efforts are recognized; hence, they would be motivated to do more.
Giving reasons for picking the nominee, Folorunsho said that the Council had been watching him for a long time considering his leadership skills and how he is fairing in his business in terms of honesty and integrity; hence, his induction for the ambassadorship.
He, therefore, challenged Adegoke to put in more efforts as the award is to motivate him to keep excelling in the chosen path.
Responding to the award, The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Segun Adegoke dedicated the award to aspiring entrepreneurs like him, urging them to wake up from bed and get their clothes washed.
He explained that businesses are filled with ups and down but the zest and doggedness to overcome is what really matters.
Adegoke stated that nation building is a product of productive leadership and that is what every African youth should aspire to have in order to jointly build an enviable country specifically and Nigeria generally.

Who on earth gave this man by the name Segun Adegoke an award, he lacks integrity, he has robbed me of my money by offering me a property that never existed. Nigerians. Is it a crime to do business with a fellow Nigerian?
